We are eagerly looking for a new strong addition to our winning team – someone who will define, anchor and drive the corporate sustainability agenda for our Group from a social, economic and environmental perspective. 

About the role

Reporting directly to the CEO of Nord-Lock Group, and being based at our global headquarters in Malmö, the Sustainability Manager will have the unique opportunity to make a real difference by defining necessary strategies, policies and procedures, as well as driving key workstreams hands-on, at all levels of our organization. This role forms a central part of our Group’s future journey, further strengthening our strategic positioning towards continued profitable growth – by acting responsibly and leaving a more sustainable footprint. Through leveraging your own Sustainability toolbox and previous implementation experience, as well as building on our employees’ high engagement for this field, you will work towards building internal competence and making Sustainability a natural part of the Nord-Lock Group culture and day-to-day work. As we make progress, frequent and transparent communication will also be key, and you will get regular exposure to all our key stakeholders, including senior management, Board of Directors, and other companies within our owner Investment AB Latour’s business network – interacting with our customers and external partners is of course also of fundamental importance to this role.

About you

Having the right combination of personality, education and work experience is important for us, and accordingly we seek someone who is high-powered and passionate about Sustainability, but also with a solid business accumen and several years of track record from a similar role in an industrial and international setting. You can make things happen in a structured way, inspiring and leading others while going from theory to concrete impact, and then measuring / communicating success. You enjoy traveling and are good at building relationships in different contexts.

Competencies required

  • University degree within Engineering / Environment / Safety / Quality / Sustainability.
  • 3-5 years of Managerial / Project Management experience from a similar position.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal) – other language skills is a plus.
  • Proven change management experience – a strong communicator.
