Washers are laser marked with Nord-Lock brand name, control number and type code for traceability.

This washer has the same inner diameter as the standard washer in same size, but it has an enlarged outer diameter. The washer is designed to work well in applications with enlarged and slotted holes or where the contact surface is soft, such as aluminum and copper.

The washer is through hardened to make sure it is harder than the bolt and the contact surface. It is treated with Delta Protekt®, a surface coating that provides a very high corrosion protection. To optimize the load bearing area a flanged nut or bolt should be used together with this washer. Nord-Lock washers work with all common bolt grades such as 4.8, 5.6, 8.8, 10.9 and 12.9.
