The Roller Coaster at the Tusenfryd Amusement Park outside Oslo, Norway, has 1 million bolted connections. Some are highly critical - and have no room for error.
To secure the bolted connections on this high vibration ride, Nord-Lock washers have been installed. Nord-Lock washers create a wedge-locking effect underneath the bolt head or nut, making it physically impossible for any loosening to occur.
